That single-warehouse setup is exactly why ocean freight makes sense for anything bulky — a full barrel of household goods, business inventory, or a returning resident's belongings can be consolidated at Carrollton with shipments from other states and loaded onto the same monthly container, which is what keeps the per-cubic-foot rate low.

Notice the a smartphone costs the same as a 15" laptop — both fall under the 2.5 kg minimum. If you're shipping several small items (a couple of gadgets, some accessories, a few gifts), it almost always costs the same or less to consolidate them into one box rather than sending them separately, since each individual air shipment is billed for at least 2.5 kg regardless of actual weight.
