Specific per-kg and per-cubic-foot rates are configured by our operations team and may be adjusted periodically. Use the Savings Calculator on your Membership page to see exact pricing for your shipment. Higher tiers always receive equal or better rates than lower tiers.

How to Use the Savings Calculator

Select your warehouse

Choose Texas or Delaware as the origin warehouse.

Choose shipping method

Select Air Cargo or Ocean Cargo.

Enter shipment details

Enter the weight (for air) or volume (for ocean), shipment type (self-purchase or assisted purchase), and delivery option (pickup or door delivery).

Compare costs

The calculator shows the total cost for your shipment under each tier side by side, highlighting the savings you would get by upgrading.

How to Upgrade

Upgrading your membership is quick and easy. Follow these steps to unlock better rates and exclusive benefits.

Log in to your account

Go to Dashboard > Membership

From your customer dashboard, navigate to the Membership page where you can view your current tier and available upgrades.

Compare plans side by side

Review the benefits comparison table and use the Savings Calculator to see exactly how much you'll save on your typical shipments.

Click "Upgrade" on your chosen tier

Select Gold ($97/year) or Platinum ($997/year) and click the Upgrade button to start the upgrade process.

Complete payment via M-Pesa (IntaSend)

Pay securely through M-Pesa, bank transfer, or card using IntaSend, our trusted payment processor. You can also contact our team via WhatsApp to process your upgrade.

Membership activates immediately

Once payment is confirmed, your membership is activated immediately and remains valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Your new rates apply to all future shipments right away.

Auto-Renewal

To ensure uninterrupted access to your membership benefits, Kentex Cargo offers an auto-renewal feature for Gold and Platinum memberships.

Automatic Renewal

If auto-renewal is enabled, the system will attempt to renew your membership automatically once it expires, using your preferred payment method. Combined with the 7-day grace period, this ensures minimal disruption to your membership benefits.

Renewal Reminders

You will receive an email and SMS reminder 7 days before your membership expires, giving you time to review your renewal settings or update your payment information.

Grace Period

If your membership expires (either because auto-renewal is off or a renewal payment fails), you have a 7-day grace period during which your membership benefits remain active. After the grace period, your account reverts to the Free tier.

Managing Auto-Renewal

You can enable or disable auto-renewal anytime from your account Settings. If you disable auto-renewal, your membership will remain active until its expiration date, and then revert to Free.

Failed Renewals

If an auto-renewal payment fails (insufficient funds, expired payment method, etc.), you will be notified and given the 7-day grace period to manually renew. If no action is taken, your membership reverts to the Free tier after the grace period ends.

Referral Commissions

Kentex Cargo affiliates can earn commissions when their referred users upgrade to a paid membership tier. Here's how it works:

How Affiliate Commissions Work

50% Commission

Referrers earn a 50% commission on the membership fee when a referred user upgrades to Gold or Platinum. For example, a Gold upgrade earns the referrer $48.50, and a Platinum upgrade earns $498.50.

30-Day Payable Period

The commission becomes payable 30 days after the referred user's membership upgrade is completed and confirmed.

Paid Upgrades Only

Commissions only apply to paid membership upgrades. Courtesy upgrades (granted by admin) do not generate referral commissions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I downgrade my membership?

There is no direct downgrade option. Your current membership remains active until its expiration date. Once it expires, your account automatically reverts to the Free tier if you choose not to renew.

What happens when my membership expires?

When your membership expires, you have a 7-day grace period during which your benefits remain active. After the grace period, your account reverts to the Free tier and you will be charged standard rates on all future shipments.

Can I upgrade from Gold to Platinum mid-year?

Yes, you can upgrade from Gold to Platinum at any time. The full Platinum annual fee of $997 applies, and your new 12-month Platinum membership period starts from the date of upgrade.

Do I keep my rates if my membership expires?

No. Once your membership expires and the grace period ends, you revert to Free tier rates immediately. All future shipments will be charged at standard Free tier rates until you renew or upgrade again.

How do I check my membership status?

Log in to your account and go to Dashboard > Membership. This page shows your current tier, expiration date, auto-renewal status, and full transaction history.

Is there a monthly membership option?

No, memberships are annual only. Gold costs $97 per year and Platinum costs $997 per year. There is no monthly payment option at this time.
