Scheduling Delivery
Requesting home delivery is simple and can be done through your Kentex Cargo customer portal or by contacting our team directly.
Log In to Your Portal
Sign in to your Kentex Cargo account and navigate to your package or order details.
Select "Home Delivery"
When your package is ready for release (duty paid, customs cleared), choose the "Home Delivery" option instead of pickup.
Provide Delivery Address
Enter your full delivery address including street name, building/estate name, nearest landmark, and a reachable phone number.
Choose Preferred Time Window
Select your preferred delivery time window. Our dispatch team will do their best to deliver within the selected window, and will call ahead to confirm.
Pay Delivery Fee
The delivery fee will be shown before you confirm. Pay via wallet balance or M-Pesa to complete the delivery request.

Delivery fees vary based on your location and the size/weight of your package. Fees are calculated and displayed before you confirm delivery, so there are no surprises.

- CBD and immediate environs: Lower fees
- Suburbs (Karen, Langata, etc.): Moderate fees
- Greater Nairobi (Kiambu, Machakos): Standard fees
Outside Nairobi
- Major cities (Mombasa, Kisumu): Standard fees
- County towns: Higher fees based on distance

Tracking Your Delivery
Once your delivery is dispatched, you can track its progress through multiple channels:
In-App Notifications
Your Kentex Cargo portal will show real-time delivery status updates. You'll see when your package is dispatched, in transit, and out for delivery.
SMS Updates
You'll receive SMS notifications at key stages: when the package is dispatched, when the rider is nearby, and when delivery is completed.

Follow these tips to ensure your home delivery goes smoothly:
Be Available During Delivery Window
Ensure you or an authorized person is available at the delivery address during the selected time window. The delivery rider will call before arriving.
Provide Accurate Address with Landmarks
Include well-known landmarks, building names, and floor/apartment numbers. The more specific your address, the faster the delivery. For example: "Sunrise Apartments, 3rd Floor, Apt 3B, next to Shell Petrol Station, Ngong Road."
Have Your ID Ready
The delivery rider will verify your identity before handing over the package. Have your National ID or passport ready. The name should match the order details.
Inspect Before Signing
Open and inspect your package at the time of delivery. Check that all items are present and undamaged. Report any issues to the delivery rider and contact Kentex support immediately.
Keep Your Phone Reachable
Ensure the phone number on your account is active and reachable. The delivery team will call if they have trouble locating your address or need to confirm details.
