In-App Notifications
Look for the bell icon in your dashboard. All notifications appear here with read/unread status.

Shipment Alerts
You'll receive automatic notifications at every stage of your shipment's journey from the USA to Kenya.
Package Received at Warehouse
Your package has arrived at our US warehouse and has been checked in.
Shipped
Your package has been consolidated and shipped from the US.
In Transit
Your shipment is on the way to Kenya.
Arrived in Kenya
Your shipment has arrived in Kenya and is being processed through customs.
Ready for Pickup / Out for Delivery
Your package is ready to collect or is on its way to your delivery address.
Delivered
Your package has been successfully delivered to the receiver.
These shipment notifications are sent automatically and cannot be individually disabled. They are essential for tracking your packages.
Payment Alerts
Stay on top of your finances with automatic payment-related notifications.
Invoice Generated
Notified when a new invoice is created for your shipment, including the amount due and payment deadline.
Payment Received
Confirmation that your payment has been successfully processed and applied to your invoice.
Wallet Funded
Confirmation when funds are added to your wallet via M-Pesa, card, or other payment methods.
Membership Renewal
Reminders about upcoming membership renewals and confirmation of successful renewals.

How to Manage Notifications
- Log in to your Dashboard
- Navigate to Settings
- Select Notifications
- Toggle Email and SMS notifications individually
- Save your preferences
Email Preferences
- Toggle on/off for each notification type
- Promotional emails can be unsubscribed separately
- Critical account emails cannot be disabled
SMS Preferences
- Toggle on/off for each notification type
- Security codes are always sent via SMS
- Delivery notifications recommended to keep on

Common Issues & Solutions
Not receiving emails?
- Check your spam/junk folder for emails from Kentex Cargo
- Add sales@kentexcargo.com to your contacts or safe senders list
- Verify your email address is correct in your profile settings
Not receiving SMS?
- Verify your phone number is correct and includes the country code
- Ensure your phone can receive SMS messages
- Check that SMS notifications are enabled in your settings
In-app notifications not showing?
- Refresh your browser or app
- Clear your browser cache and log in again
- Check the notification bell icon in your dashboard
