Your Membership page includes a built-in Savings Calculator that lets you compare the cost of a specific shipment across all three tiers — Free, Gold, and Platinum — so you can see exactly how much you would save by upgrading.
How to Use the Savings Calculator
Select the origin warehouse
Choose the US warehouse your package will ship from.
Choose shipping method
Select Air Cargo (7-14 days) or Ocean Cargo (75-90 days).
Enter shipment details
Enter the weight (for air) or volume (for ocean), shipment type (self-purchase or assisted purchase), and delivery option (pickup or home delivery).
Compare costs across all tiers
The calculator shows the total cost for your shipment under each tier side by side, highlighting the savings you would get by upgrading.

Log in to your account and go to Dashboard > Membership to use the Savings Calculator with real-time rates.

Upgrading your membership is quick and easy. You can pay via M-Pesa, bank transfer, or card — all processed securely through IntaSend.
Log in to your account
Sign in to your Kentex Cargo account at kentexcargo.com. If you don't have an account yet, create one for free using your phone number or email.
Go to Dashboard > Membership
From your customer dashboard, navigate to the Membership page where you can view your current tier and available upgrades.
Compare plans side by side
Review the benefits comparison table and use the Savings Calculator to see how much you'll save on your typical shipments from the USA.
Click "Upgrade" on your chosen tier
Select Gold ($97/year) or Platinum ($997/year) and click the Upgrade button to start the payment process.
Pay via M-Pesa or card
Complete your payment securely through IntaSend. M-Pesa is fully supported — simply enter your phone number and confirm the payment on your phone. You can also pay with a debit or credit card, or via bank transfer. Alternatively, contact our team via WhatsApp to process your upgrade.
Membership activates immediately
Once payment is confirmed, your membership is activated immediately and remains valid for 12 months. Your new rates apply to all future shipments right away, including any packages already at our warehouse waiting to ship.

Auto-Renewal
To ensure uninterrupted access to your membership benefits, Kentex Cargo offers an auto-renewal feature for Gold and Platinum memberships.
Automatic Renewal
If auto-renewal is enabled, the system will attempt to renew your membership automatically once it expires, using your preferred payment method (including M-Pesa). Combined with the 7-day grace period, this ensures minimal disruption to your membership benefits.
Renewal Reminders
You will receive an SMS and email reminder 7 days before your membership expires, giving you time to review your renewal settings or ensure your M-Pesa account has sufficient funds.
Grace Period
If your membership expires (either because auto-renewal is off or a renewal payment fails), you have a 7-day grace period during which your membership benefits remain active. After the grace period, your account reverts to the Free tier.
Managing Auto-Renewal
You can enable or disable auto-renewal anytime from your account Settings. If you disable auto-renewal, your membership will remain active until its expiration date, and then revert to Free.
Failed Renewals
If an auto-renewal payment fails (insufficient M-Pesa balance, network issues, etc.), you will be notified via SMS and given the 7-day grace period to manually renew. If no action is taken, your membership reverts to the Free tier after the grace period ends.
Referral Commissions
Kentex Cargo affiliates can earn commissions when their referred users upgrade to a paid membership tier. Share your referral link with friends and family and earn money when they upgrade.
How Affiliate Commissions Work
50% Commission
Referrers earn a 50% commission on the membership fee when a referred user upgrades to Gold or Platinum. For example, a Gold upgrade earns the referrer $48.50, and a Platinum upgrade earns $498.50.
30-Day Hold Period
Commissions are held for 30 days after the membership payment is confirmed. This protects against refunds and chargebacks. After the hold period, the commission becomes payable.
Self-Referral Protection
You cannot earn a commission on your own membership upgrade. The system automatically prevents self-referral commissions.
Track Your Earnings
View your referral commissions and payment history from your customer dashboard under the Affiliate section.
Start Earning
Join the affiliate program and share your referral link with friends and family. When they sign up and upgrade their membership, you earn commissions.

Can I cancel my membership?
Memberships are annual and non-refundable. You can disable auto-renewal at any time, and your benefits will remain active until the membership expires. After that, your account reverts to the Free tier.
Can I downgrade from Platinum to Gold?
Direct downgrades are not available mid-term. When your Platinum membership expires, you can choose to renew at the Gold level instead.
Can I upgrade from Gold to Platinum mid-year?
Yes. Contact our support team to upgrade from Gold to Platinum. The Platinum annual fee will apply from the date of the upgrade.
Can I pay for membership via M-Pesa?
Yes. M-Pesa is fully supported through our IntaSend integration. During checkout, select M-Pesa as your payment method, enter your phone number, and confirm the payment prompt on your phone.
Will my rates change if I upgrade mid-shipment?
Your new membership rates apply to all shipments invoiced after the upgrade. Shipments that were already invoiced before the upgrade will not be recalculated.
Can I upgrade via WhatsApp?
Yes. You can contact our team via WhatsApp or call +254 709 443000, and a staff member can process your membership upgrade. You will receive an OTP to verify your identity during the process.
Does Platinum really include free home delivery across Kenya?
Yes. Platinum members receive free last-mile delivery to any location in Kenya where our delivery service operates. This includes Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, and other areas we serve.
Can my family use my membership?
Membership benefits are tied to your account. However, if a US-based sender ships packages to your warehouse code, the shipment is billed under your account and benefits from your membership tier rates.
